Kristyn Morey
About
Kristyn Morey is an orchestral and chamber flutist and teaching artist in the Boston area, performing with the Plymouth Philharmonic, Brookline Symphony Orchestra, Apollo Ensemble, and Boston Chamber Symphony, among others. She was the winner of the Brookline Symphony Orchestra’s 2019 Concerto Competition, performing the Reinecke Flute Concerto as part of their 10th Anniversary 2019-2020 season, in addition to first prize in concerto competitions with the Protege Philharmonic and Aurora Symphony.
Kristyn holds Flute Performance degrees from DePaul University and Boston University, where she studied with Mary Stolper and Linda Toote. In addition to her freelance career, Kristyn is also the US Direct and Southeast Asia, Pacific, and Middle East Sales Manager for Powell Flutes, where she helps flutists around the world find their voice in their dream instrument.
