Statement on Future Programming

We at the Apollo Ensemble of Boston deplore the horrific death of George Floyd and the pattern of racial injustice that has tragically become all too familiar in our country. We support the right of individuals and communities to engage in protest, and we stand with the protestors in demanding systemic change. While we have currently postponed all our planned summer programs indefinitely, we commit to featuring works composed by BIPOC on our upcoming seasons. We look forward to returning and producing vital, thrilling, and relevant public performances when medical authorities deem it safe to do so
