Shinwho Kwun
About
Shinwho Kwun is a violist based in Boston. Since starting viola in elementary school, she has been an avid ensemble musician and has played in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra. During her undergraduate years at Vanderbilt University, Shinwho was violist of Eunoia String Quartet. Together they won first prize of the Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition in 2022, and were semifinalists of the Plowman Chamber Music Competition in 2023.
Although she is a consultant in healthcare by day, Shinwho remains active in the music community. She has played with the Apollo Ensemble of Boston since 2024 and is also an active member of the Orchestra Book Club.
