About
I have been playing the violin since I was nine years old, and decided I wanted to pursue it professionally in late middle school. Growing up, I would participate in youth orchestra, community orchestra, and my state’s all-state orchestra festivals every year, doing summer festivals alongside these opportunities. I took a gap year in 2020 after graduating high school to focus on practicing and working, then attended the Boston Conservatory at Berklee for my Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance (graduated Summa cum laude, May 2025), studying under Professor Lynn Chang. This fall, I began my Master’s degree in Violin Performance, also at the Boston Conservatory, under Professor Rictor Noren. This past December, I made my Carnegie Hall debut with the Boston Conservatory Orchestra, performing for the United Nation’s 80th General Assembly concert. In addition to pursuing violin, I have also learned viola in the last year and a half (under Professor Noren), and actively perform on both instruments.
Currently, I am a TA for chamber music at BoCo, and also tutor music theory and aural skills at the conservatory. Outside of graduate school, I am actively teaching violin and viola to students in the greater Boston community, as well as regularly performing freelance gigs and performing with ensembles such as the Apollo Ensemble and Horizon Ensemble. Post-grad, I am planning on continuing to teach, as well as continuing to perform in all different kinds of musical settings.
