About

Music has always been a part of Grace Wodarcyk’s life, who was born into a musical family and began playing violin at the age of 7. From her hometown of Chandler, Arizona, Grace moved to Boston in 2018 to study with Bayla Keyes at Boston University while pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Violin Performance and Music Education. After graduating in 2022, Grace began her career as an elementary general music teacher. She completed levels 1 and 2 of Kodaly music teacher training at the Kodaly Music Institute in Framingham, Massachusetts, and currently teaches K-2 general music in the Winthrop Public Schools. She loves her job not only because of her passion for music, but also because of how the general music curriculum lends itself well to instilling social-emotional skills in young students. Grace is currently working on her Master’s degree in Special Education through an online program at Worcester State University, and is set to graduate in the spring of 2026.

Outside of her teaching career, performance remains an important part of Grace’s life. She regularly performs on both violin and viola with Apollo and other ensembles in the greater Boston area, and enjoys sightreading chamber music with friends.
