Newly appointed Assistant Conductor of the Columbus Symphony and Music Director of the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra, Elias Miller returns to Boston to kick off the Apollo Ensemble’s 2024-25 season with this scintillating program featuring music by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Sam Wu.

Our 2024-25 season also includes world premieres by Gala Flagello (Droughts and Downpours for String Orchestra) and Ebun Oguntola. Soloists Keila Wakao and Leland Ko will return for performances of Barber and Dvorak respectively, and the winner of the Massachusetts Viola Society Competition will perform Bruch’s Romanze. Some of the greatest works of the standard repertoire including Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7, and more fill out what will be our most ambitious season to date.
